“It’s not about trying to find something to help you be a more effective leader. It’s about trying to be a better person. The other will follow.”
–Jim Autry, “Practicing Servant”
About Peter McGaugh.
From Peter: “I have always been deeply curious about people and what makes us tick. Many conversations, much reflective observation, rigorous daily practice and through my work supporting others as a coach and mentor has allowed me to develop a compassionate appreciation for the human journey and a deep understanding of the individual and universal struggles which each of us bears. We all trip and stumble. And yet, every now and again we rise and shine too. I have committed my life to looking for and finding the extraordinary gifts that reside within every person and creating safe spaces to nurture these gifts to unfold and come forth, in order to make a difference in people’s lives – be it at work, home, in their communities, as a parent, etc. I believe it’s time for all of us to let more of our brilliance shine through. If not now, when?”
Peter is passionate about developing authentic leadership, with an emphasis on authentic. When the real us shows up, a leader naturally emerges and extraordinary things occur in every corner of life.
