The Retreat: An Invitation to Courageous Living. October 14-15, 2017.
Join us at The Opinicon this October!
The Retreat is a time to “get away from it all” in order to “get into it all.” This experience is designed to support those who feel a calling and have a sense of urgency to bring some sanity, compassion, and connection into the world around them: acts of courage that require on-going commitment, discipline, practice, and the support of a community. These are the things you will find in our 2 days together: teachings, practices, and conversations that will strengthen your confidence, invite you to explore your purpose, and grow in your capacity for curiosity and joy in any and every area of life.
In particular, we will work together to:
- get a glimpse of how much our everyday thoughts and actions are on “auto pilot”
- get a sense of our purpose and calling in the world (and discover how to live into it).
- re-connect to Life…and joy.
- just “be” (your soul will thank you for this one)
The Schedule for The Retreat:
Saturday, October 14. Our first session will begin mid-morning. There will be lunch, an afternoon session, free time, dinner and an evening session as well.
Sunday, October 15: We’ll begin with an optional sunrise meditation, then head to breakfast, followed by a morning session, lunch, an afternoon session…and then head for home.
For those who are able to stay an extra night, though, we are offering The Retreat Plus–a Sunday evening session and a Monday morning session. Click here for more information about Plus.
